Who am I able to message using the VTConnect Private Message System?


The ability to message using the secure VTConnect Portal Private Message System depends on your role within VTConnect and within your organization. Details provided below.

Prospective Clients can send messages to any VTConnect organization or practitioner by clicking on the organization’s or practitioner’s “Send a message” button or unique URL link that is tied back to the VTConnect Portal Private Message System. If the prospective client doesn’t already have a VTConnect Portal Account, they will be required to create one and login before being directed to the private message create screen.

Existing Clients can send messages to the practitioners within the organization(s) they are connected to, to the organizational administrator(s) of the organization(s) they are connected to, and they may also reply to any messages they receive.

Staff can send messages to all other staff within the organization and they may also reply to any messages they receive.

Practitioners can send messages to client(s) that are associated to them and to all other staff within the organization, and they may also reply to any messages they receive.

Care Coordinators can send messages to all clients within their department and to all other staff within the organization, and they may also reply to any messages they receive.

Department Administrators can send messages to all clients within their department and to all other staff within the organization, and they may also reply to any messages they receive.

Organizational Administrators can send messages to all clients and staff within the organization and they may also reply to any messages they receive
